Move Better. Feel Stronger. Live Better.

Movement Coaching at Barefoot is about helping you get more from your body - whatever your starting point.

For some people, that means improving mobility and moving more freely. For others, it’s about becoming stronger, fitter and more physically capable.

For people recovering from pain, injury or surgery, Movement Coaching can provide the bridge between successful treatment and getting back to everything they want their body to do, for the long-term.

Our approach brings together strength & conditioning, mobility training, personal training, principles of physio and rehabilitation, allowing us to adapt the service around you and your goals.

You don’t need to be injured - and you don’t need to consider yourself “fit” to work with us.

From Rehabilitation to Performance

We don’t believe there needs to be a hard dividing line between rehabilitation and fitness.

Getting out of pain may only be the first milestone. The next might be rebuilding strength, returning to running, getting back into the gym, returning to sport or simply feeling confident and capable in your body again.

Equally, you might have no injury at all and simply want to improve your mobility, strength, fitness or physical performance.

The starting points are different. The principle is the same:
Understand where you are now, identify what you want your body to be capable of, and progressively build towards it.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I sign up if I have a health condition or injury?

Yes. Movement Coaching at Barefoot Physio is tailored to you. If you have any injuries, long-term conditions, or health concerns, we’ll work with you safely and appropriately to support your movement and strength goals. If needed, we’ll liaise with our in-house physio team for the best outcome.

Can I sign up if I’m a complete beginner?

Absolutely. Movement Coaching is designed for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced athletes. We meet you where you are and help you build strength, confidence, and movement skill at your own pace.

What happens if I can’t use all my sessions before the expiry?

We encourage you to plan your sessions in advance to stay on track. Unfortunately, we’re unable to extend the expiry dates, except in exceptional circumstances such as serious illness or injury. If you think you might need extra time, please contact us as early as possible to discuss.

Can I get a refund if I don’t use all my sessions?

Session packs are non-refundable once purchased. Any unused sessions after the expiry date will be forfeited.

Can I transfer my sessions to someone else?

Session packs are non-transferable and are intended for the named individual only, to ensure consistent and personalised coaching.

Do I need to book all my sessions at once?

We recommend scheduling your sessions ahead to secure your preferred times and to make sure you use your pack within the expiry window.

How often should I come for movement coaching?

The length of time you work with me depends entirely on your goals, lifestyle, and preferences. Some of my clients choose to see me weekly and have done so for many years—it’s a key part of how they maintain their health, fitness, and overall wellbeing. Others prefer to commit to a block of sessions to build a strong foundation, then continue independently with an online programme, checking in with a face-to-face session when they feel they need support or a programme update. There’s no one-size-fits-all answer – it’s about finding what works best for you.
