About Rebecca
Rebecca has been a Chartered Physiotherapist since qualifying in 2008. She has worked in a variety of healthcare settings in the UK, Mongolia, Nepal and Ghana, before specialising in musculoskeletal injuries both in the NHS and privately. She has studied an MSc in Applied Sport and Exercise Science to expand her expertise.
Rebecca has published original research in the International Journal of Orthopaedic and Trauma Nursing on pre-operative and post-operative physiotherapy for total hip replacements, looking at how the process can be made more efficient and which missing elements could be included in the NHS to improve the quality of service for patients.
Rebecca enjoys an active lifestyle, including rock climbing and bouldering, mountain biking, road cycling and canyoning. She is committed to helping you achieve your aims and get you back to doing what you love. Alongside physiotherapy, she offers bike fits and support with cycling-specific injuries and optimisation.
Rebecca also runs a ladies cycling group: a sociable, no-drop group ride, just for ladies, and all abilities are welcome. The group meets on the first Sunday of each month from the Barefoot clinic in Exeter.
